Key Responsibilities:
- Design of water, wastewater and other infrastructure systems and facilities
- Prepare studies, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for a wide variety of groundwater/wastewater projects
- Support project managers with client relations, stakeholder management, and sub-consultant coordination
- Industrial process control and Control Systems Design
- Leading and mentoring mid-level staff
- Construction management/inspection
- Assist in proposal preparation including oral presentations.
- Prepare the scope, schedule, and budget for new projects
- Work within a team of project managers, design engineers, technicians, and support staff to successfully complete a variety of projects
- Take ownership of projects from start to finish
- Review submittals, oversee the design, variety of projects keeping within budget and meeting timelines/milestones
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant experience in water, wastewater, and stormwater project design
- 5+ years of experience in field construction management
- Bachelors degree in Chemical or Civil Engineering
- P.E. license in California or ability to transfer within a reasonable timeframe is required.
- Quality control certifications
- Abilities to establish and maintain stakeholder relationships
- Ability to learn and adapt
- Experience in managing technical staff and project teams
- Ability to manage several projects concurrently
- Demonstrated success in business development activities
- Solid organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients and multi-disciplinary team members

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as various market and business considerations.
The annual wage range for this position is $140,000 - $190,000, depending on experience. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.
Full time employees receive a well rounded benefit package including access to our company sponsored Medical (including an HSA High Deductible option), Dental, Vision, FSA, and Supplemental Life Insurance plans. We also offer 100% company paid Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, and Long Term Disability coverage. Employees are eligible to participate in our company 401k plan with up to a 4% match. Additionally, employees also receive paid vacation time, paid sick time, and 11 paid holidays and are eligible to participate in employee ownership offerings. MacKay Sposito pays for expenses associated with licensure as well as annual profit sharing bonuses.
